The “old courthouse” will soon be another memory. Records show that this courthouse was number four (4) in Will County’s history, dating back to 1836.
The area will be a green space until we can determine what the best use of it should be. A new building and a parking lot have been eliminated from the possibilities.
We need to preserve some history and make this a destination place.
